For the majority of my time at MassMutual, I worked on the
corporate intranet, "MMInfo." Over the years, the web design tasks
changed significantly as we moved from custom-made sites for each department
to a standardized enterprise portal, involving less visual design and more
information architecture. Recently, I had made the move to the usability area,
with a focus on user centered design. It was a good move, and a logical progression.
Below is a recent shot from the site, with a clickable feature of some sample
banners for the site. They were fun exercises in small-space design, and a
way to liven up the site a bit with some color and photography. Before leaving
the web design team, I totaled up the number of banners I'd made over my five
years with them. It was something over 300.
