| Imaginary Forces |
Imaginary Forces is a design firm that specializes in film titles and trailers. Before the release of the movie, "The Fifth Element,"a theatrical trailer was released as a 60 second "tease," telling nothing of the movie or its content. The idea was to show an enormous metal object, covered in strange markings, reveal itself as the number five, then exit dramatically. My job was to work on textures, creating symbols for the surface that were both Egyptian and futuristic.

My black and white symbols were then used as a bump-map on the model of the five, creating mysterious peaks and valleys the camera flies over as the object passes.
